it sounds kind of corny, but with where I am in life right now, that’s actually kind of really hope inspiring. Allowed me to take a deep breath and remember life will go on. I know this doesn’t make sense to you guys, cause most of you don’t know me very well. But just know that this helped me SO MUCH. And I hope it can help you too.

I wouldn’t mind the criticism as much if it wasn’t so shallow.
In a world where most of us, including myself, rarely think about the so-called “third world” unless there’s a disaster, here’s a family who have taken their beliefs so seriously that they lived as missionaries in the Philippines, and raised a son who goes on mission trips over spring break instead of heading to Daytona Beach to get drunk all week. They’ve devoted their entire lives to helping others.

I made homemade cinnamon rolls just now.
Yes, they were from a can, but I DID make them at home. And the -POP!- when the can opens is terrifying!!
Anywho, I do love actually making stuff from scratch, and often times I think it looks like art. Like Food Art. I think I will mesh the names and call it FART! So, from now on, if I make anything that looks particularly scrumptious or pretty after making it, I’ll post it on here and tag it fart.

My purpose on Tumblr has been to spread worldwide humanitarian news, and the Catholic Church’s responses to them. In that process, I’ve followed almost 4,000 people, with maybe one-fifth of them demonstrating some interest in my posts.
I’ve noted that the majority of people have responded not to my poverty-related posts, but my posts in response to questions about the Catholic Church. I have occasionally posted quotes, verses, and photos related to Catholic Christianity.
I am a Christian who is one with Christ’s Church; in the future, I ask you to investigate, or research topics about Catholicism for yourself before you resort to asking someone who’s here to talk about poverty. Even better, go to your local parish (aka. Catholic church) and ask around.
Evangelization - bringing others to faith - is on my mind as I post. I’m aware that people view the Catholic religion as rigid and even inferior to contemporary Christian “relationships.” I’ve seen wonderful photos, quotes, and verses from other Christians. I’ve also seen interesting and vivid posts from non-Christians. As I go through the painstaking process of unfollowing almost 4,000 people, and refollowing whoever posts things that help me, know that my objective here is to present the Catholic religion as being able to help all of humanity; and maybe a few life stories here and there.
